The Orchard is a family-run business that manages two restaurant sites. We are looking for new team members to join our Orchard family and in some cases work across both sites.

Front of House Supervisor
30+ hours per week
Location: The Orchard at LSTC
We are looking for a Supervisor to join us at a really exciting time, as we open our brand new restaurant site at Letchworth Sports & Tennis Club.
This role has 4 key elements:
To support the Restaurant Manager in ensuring the restaurant is managed to the highest standards at all times.
To provide exceptional customer service and to support team members in doing the same.
To provide a pivotal link between the Front of House Team and Kitchen Team whilst on shift to ensure restaurant service runs professionally and smoothly.
To feel confident in opening and/or closing the restaurant in the Restaurant Managers absence.
This position is suitable for someone with previous hospitality experience. It is also desirable that you will have had some previous experience in managing team members (although this is not essential). This position would be suitable for someone who is looking to develop their career in the hospitality industry, learning to take on more responsibility and progress.
Our new site at Letchworth Sports & Tennis Club hasn't taken flight yet, so this is a rare opportunity to come on board from the very beginning, to grow with us and have your ideas heard.
This position requires someone who is fully flexible as the demands on the hospitality industry is during evening and weekends, but we will also require early starts from 8am. Shift patterns are irregular and will meet the demand of the business.

Seasonal Restaurant Assistants
Minimum of 6 hours per week
Location: at both The Orchard at LSTC and The Orchard at Vanstone Park
We are expecting a busy summer, so we are looking for fully flexible team members to join us on a 6 month contract.
Restaurant Assistants will be required to work at both restaurant sites, so private transport is essential. You will be required to help across both Front of House and within the Kitchens, which may include and not be limited to: serving tables, making hot drinks, creating cocktails, cleaning the restaurant, plating dishes, dish washing and taking customer orders.
Although previous hospitality experience is desired, full training will be provided. What you do need however is lots of energy, exceptional customer service skills and be a team player.
